Originally, I conceived of a scene similar to the one portrayed in Downfall and the inspiration of a billion memes. I felt that we needed to check in on Hitler and see his reaction to discovering that Charlie was mocking him, and to establish not only his rage, but also make him a more formidable opponent. While doing research for this book, I came across this picture:

Yep, that is Adolf Hitler wearing a kimono.

Evidently this was taken in 1936 when The Führer signed the international pact between Nazi Germany and Japan. That immediately sent my mind reeling.
