The vaginal rip in the screen is entirely post hoc intentional, which is the best kind of intentional. Which is to say, not intentional in the slightest.
I guess that combined with the nude female form projected on the screen, it represents Charlie being birthed onto the stage. This is particularly relevant because his wrecking of Leni’s premiere is the the inciting incident that starts the whole chain of events for this story.
Actually I just made all that up. Maybe it’s true. Maybe not. Maybe I just see vaginas everywhere I look. It just sounded smart.
